Sunset Haze

This dress is inspired by the divinities of the skies of the ancient Greek. The gown embraces the body in its draped lines, featuring an open neck drop and a soft drape which takes on the appearance of the most feminine feature: the collar bones and shoulders. On the right side of the dress, from the waist line, yards of ruffled fabric, descend to the floor with a dramatic effect that goes in strong contrast with the plain Taffeta fabric of the draped dress. The strength of this dress is definitely in its bright vibrant color that will without a doubt leave a lasting impression.

Epiphany

This dress is reminiscent of fluffy clouds and their layers in the sky. Though made of yards and yards of gathered dotted tulle, the layers are used to create flounces and volume, to define a real dreamy ball gown. The electric pleated tulle is asymmetrically layered revealing an interesting composition of texture to compliment the handmade appliqué on the bust. Cinched at the waist, a constructed corset covered by a fine layer of the same tulle, is enriched with vertical lines of fine sequins and precious beads and belted for a more feminine silhouette.

Cloud 9

This season is all about strong daring colors. This dress is an effortless statement that strongly imposes itself with the uncommon pattern of the voluminous sleeves that sit off the shoulders creating constructed draped pleats that reveal the airy handpicked Coque feathers. Contrasting with all this eccentricity, the silhouette of the gown embrace and follow the figure in a simple, more classical way that highlights the shapes in a siren line. The skyline in Rome, seen from the rooftops along the river, is the inspiration behind this effervescent gown; with its fuchsia streaks between the blue sky.

Scarlet

This is what I imagine the queen of the Gardens of Babylon would wear to lead her people. This gown is a true symbol of expertise in craftsmanship. This is a piece of extreme grace, that possesses a clean and sophisticated silhouette. The fabric of the skirt is entirely embellished by horizontal rows of threads of beads. Each thread is made by hand and then stitched next to the others to compose each row. The rows change their gradient in a vertical and harmonious way. The tones fade from purple to pink, then subtly transform to yellows, golds and finally silver. The modern straight-cut bodice is entirely enriched with intricate embroidery that alternates in a clash of rhomboid geometrical pattern and flower motifs. The Coqui feathered sleeves contrast the clean cut to add a twist for that extra drama.

“Hold my hand at sunset when the light of day goes out and the darkness slides the cloth of stars.” The poetry of this stunning gown is revealed following these enchanting words. This gown reveals the hand-embroidered constructed bodice, hidden under a soft drape that falls from the shoulder and wraps around the waist. The starry night is revealed through little sparkling crystals between the vertical rows of purple hues and blue beads. Drapes of endless metallic lamé follow delicately every curve of the body and fall from the waist at the side, creating a trail of explosive color fusions that graze the floor with luminescence. Beaded tassels on the waist and shoulder are added as accents.
